For my exam I designed and made an electronic mini car able to move in the space around it.  To make it recognize  an obstacle the theory  of light is applied : when the light hits the object it is reflected and returns back. The problem is that the light of environments superposes our light so much, that we do not succeed discriminating a light  of the other anymore. To resolve this problem I used a infrared light and infrared sensors. The electronic mini car is able to move alone the environments, to notice the obstacles and avoid them. It also know how the follow some paths draws on the floor.

The time employed for the planning and construction of the electronic mini car has been about three months. After initial phase of sketch of electric schemes I have tired the functioning of some prototypes. When the prototypes worked correctly I started to build a car. Different test have been done  on electronic mini car. They all have lead with success.

Per l'esame ho progettato e costruito una macchinina elettronica in grado di muoversi nello spazio che la circonda. Per rilevare gli ostacoli utilizzo la teoria della luce: quando la luce colpisce un oggetto viene riflessa e torna indietro. Il problema è che la luce degli ambienti si va a sovrapporre alla nostra luce tanto da non riuscire più a distinguere una luce dall'altra. Per risolvere questo problema ho usato una luce infrarossa e sensori infrarosso. Questa macchinina elettronica è in grado di muoversi da sola negli ambienti, rilevare gli ostacoli e evitarli. Inoltre sa anche seguire dei percorsi disegnati sul pavimento.

Il tempo impiegato per la progettazione e la costruzione della macchinina elettronica è stato circa di tre mesi. Dopo una fase iniziale di disegno degli schemi elettrici sono passato a provare il funzionamento di alcuni prototipi. Quando i prototipi funzionavano correttamente  sono passato alla fase di costruzione. Sono state effettuate diverse prove  sulla macchinina elettronica le quali sono state superate tutte con successo.
